Does anyone know anything about why a mother would get sore nipples when
her baby has a cold? It doesn't seem to be mastitis, as she has no fever
or redness and it's just the nipples that are sore. It has happened at
least three times when her child has had a cold. She can't tell that he is
sucking any differently or more often.
