Having raised four children through to adulthood so far - two part-time
(steps) and two of my own, and with four more heading into the teenage
territory (and one more on the way), my reaction to my daughter refusing to
drive my vehicle would be a quiet "yahoo" followed by a suggestion to my
better half to get one on his vehicle, too!

I'm have been fascinated by the impact my activism has had on my teens and
their friends. They routinely ask me now for information and resources for
friends who are pregnant. I really like it when my sons' former and
girlfriends come to me for information and resources!

Even at their most rebellious, the teens and their friends absorbed so many
positive messages about breastfeeding. There is no doubt in their mind that
formula feeding is a health hazard.  It's really gratifying.
