Kathleen,

Have this moms periods resumed?  While the uterus will contract with any breast stimulation/oxytocin release you usually don’t feel it, but I personally would feel it most the week my period was due.  At certain times my uterus was a bit more sensitive and these non-noticeable contractions would be noticeable.  My OB joked I just always knew what my uterus was doing!
