I am close to a town in Ontario that was hit last week by a tornado (Goderich). In all the support pages and discussions I hear people offering and asking for formula. I called the Ontario emergency response line (the number to call if you need or are offering donations or services - www.211Ontario.ca ) and tried to talk about the importance of breastfeeding support, and offered my services as a La Leche League leader (being the most local to the area). I got a smile and nod. I have been pondering what my next step is, if there is one... I know that the Red Cross, Knights of Columbus, Salvation Army, and St. Vincent du Paul are all actively assisting in the area...
