Just had to share this............. I delivered a pump over the weekend. Very sweet, close family who had a 2 year old son. They lived next door to the dad's brother and his family. It also appeared that the mom's mom was living with them. The adults all spoke fluent English (except maybe the gram-ma), but had immigrated here as adults. To one another everyone spoke their native language, I never figured out what it was. The little boy kept pointing to me and asking the same question over and over. I noticed it, but he's two, I figured it could have been anything. Finally, the mom explained to me that he thought I was a doctor and wanted to know why I'd come. He was worried about his mom and the baby. So sweet of him -- and I got a kick of being mistaken for a doctor, even if it was by a 2 year old.

Warmly,
Dawn Martin, CD (DONA), IBCLC
