Dear Kirsten,
Yes, LLL does have a number moms can call for 24 hour help.  The only catch
is that on nights and weekends, there must be a LLLL volunteer to take call.
The mother calls 1-800-LaLeche and a recording gives moms the option to call
(at moms expense) the on call person.  The recording provides the phone
number, but not the name, of the leader.  The mom will be referred to a LLLL
closest to her for long term follow-up.
