Judy, our hospital stocks both mead johnson and ross disposable nipples.
The slow flow is marked 'Enfamil slow flow soft - latex free'. It is a
brownish colored, not silicone, but still latex free. Standard size but
much slower than the Enfamil standard which is a 'single hole'. The
Ross standard nipple has the hole + a tiny cut vent and is much faster
than the slow flow soft. I much so prefer to use the slow flow soft for
breast feeding UNLESS they are dehydrated/minimal suction and unable to
extract milk. -Angie Kirkwood BSN, IBCLC

Previous posting: I am wondering what kind of slow flow nipples
hospitals are using?

Unfortunately, we have a few MD's who do encourage some supplementing in
the hospital, especially with phototherapy. The nipples we are using
have quite a fast flow and would like replace them with a slow flow.

TIA.
