I think this was mentioned in a recent biog I read, left in the house
I spent my summer hol in : )

I think I read she bf for three months...though that seems a long
time for that time and her social class. I'd need to check that out.

The Queen did for a short time (probably about 6 weeks, if I had to
guess, but that is based on memory); I don't know about PM.

True. It was announced each time that Diana was bf, but I can't
remember how long it was for. I would guess a couple of
months....anyone else know?

It is not usual at all, and never has been, for royalty to bf more
than a token time. They have maternity nurses and nannies, as is the
norm among the upper classes in Britain. They might start off bf, but
not at night, and quickly switch.
