for the record, the person who charged $400 to tell
the mom of the wiggly baby to "give up" breastfeeding
was an OT- occupational therapist, not an LC.
(sadly, a good friend who is an OT wonders why I don't
consult one. It's stories like that...)

I'd work on getting the baby feeding more slowly and
in a more upright position. The "baby bundler" or
didymos type carriers work well for some reflux
babies- keeps the upright and bundled closely.

Kate, http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~kolina/advantages-of-formula.html Mom to Ursula (9), Sage (6.95), Benno (3!) "I've always believed in ... 'Freedom of choice, based onknowledge of alternatives.' I believe if a mom chooses to bottle feed, that is her choice. But she has to have the knowledge of what breastfeeding would provide for her and ... for her baby so that she can make an educated decision about it." ~Libby Averill Rosen
