being my usual self (meaning - devil's advocate) I am just wondering - 
if they did mention affiliations at that time - who did pay for this 
research?

Great thing to do, love doing it too. Unfortunately too few nurses have 
the skill, relying on breast pumps too much. Hopefully Maya will help us 
to change this situation to the better ;D
