    I agree with you completely, I have always felt that those with such
mean, hateful responses to breastfeeding are dealing with a personal
feeling of 'being cheated' if you will. I am one of those people, but
for some reason, my deprivation made me bound and determined not to do
to my children what was done to me. Perhaps because my deprivation was
based on a medical 'fear' at the time of infection/and my serious
medical condition, is why I am not so resentful about what was done to
me.
    Psychobabble, it's not. To discount any pain or deviation from what
nature intended in infancy/childhood is like trying to discount any
medical research that proves human milk is better than fomulas - some
people will try to discount the research, but it doesn't change the fact
that such proof exists.
