I just admitted a baby for hyperbilli from birth bruising. Billi was 18 and rose to 22.1 on day4 on home blanket. I put him under double lights over night and dropped it to 15.2. Baby is getting syringe feed BM b/c mom was cracked nipples. R side has a central erosion and L has a transverse crack with a diaginal fissure from midpiont to 5 O'clock. Baby not getting enough in his mouth?
I have mom using expressed BM , air drying then pure lanolin and shells, also Dr Jack's mycolog/mupirocin. I thought of using a hydrogel dressing but what I have is Douderm and the literature discribes using Clear Site or Flexderm. Does anyone know if these are these interchangable ? Is this like Amoxil and Trimox?
