I looked it up as best I could.... All of the ref go back to a statement in the 1994 edition of Lawrence, which I don't have. Mohrbacher in 2010 suggests that mother reduce sat fats in her diet and take lecithin. Her ref all track back to the 1994 Lawrence. Newman says" I have found that lecithin occasionally helps, but I don't know how it works." [!] He goes on to say lecithin is a phospholipid which is found in many foods [[found in human milk]. Reported one case where evening primrose helped, but one case is not proof. I don't know where the original idea came from , but I have found it works. :-( Pat in SNJ
