This is a very low dilution and "low potency" preparation. Most homeopathics do not contain any measurable amounts of the ingredients. Calms Forte has many ingredients at 1X potency which is a 1/10 dilution (ingredient/water) which means it does contain something measurable. Though it sounds strange, high potency homeopathic preparations are higher dilutions and contain less measurable ingredient. Because Calms Forte is low dilution, it is more like an herbal preparation than a homeopathic preparation. It still has a very small measurable amount of its ingredients.

I have no idea if it is safe for a nursing mom (probably because the amount is still very small) but I wanted to comment on homeopathics having no measurable ingredients. Usually this is true but not in this case.
