I was noting the conversation about Drs. not wanting to make mothers feel
guilty and therefore downplaying or ignoring the hazards of formula feeding.
My question is this? If a mother chooses to not immunize her baby or
declines the use of an antibiotic the Dr. prescribes for an infection,
wouldn't the Dr. try to convince her (to the point of making her feel
guilty) to do what he/she feels is right for the baby? I know lots of
people that have had doctors make them feel guilty for continuing to BF past
a certain age, sleeping with their children, not introducing solids until
the baby is ready, etc. But for some reason, pushing BF just isn't okay. I
don't get it!

formula, for the good of his patients!)
