A question. Many family doctors here are approached by mothers a few days after childbirth because of severe engorgment. Sadly, these women
are usually desperate and want to give up breastfeeding because they are hurting and their children cant latch and all that. Of course these
women have a total lack of support from anyone who knows about bf, and the family docs dont usually know how to help. The women beg to be
relieved of the milk, so the doctors prescribe for these women Dostinex - cabergoline - to diminish or suppress the supply.

My question is, when there is already an engorgement, is cabergoline more efficient than just using physical measures like no stimulation, cold
cabagge leaves and so on? I have not been able to find anything in the archives.
