Has anyone ever heard of bleeding near the end of pumping? I know
someone who is an "EPer" (exclusive pumper) who had some plugged ducts
and recently woke up with softness where plugs used to be-- and she's
been bleeding towards the end of pumping for two weeks! Anyone have any
idea what this could be due to?

Also, is it normal for say, some ducts to just "shut down" if they get
too stopped up and you can't relieve them (assuming it doesn't turn into
mastitis and abcesses)? I mean, say you have I don't know...150 ducts
in a breast. And your right upper quadrant, of 55 ducts, gets all
plugged up. Can that milk re-absorb and your body decide not to produce
any more from those ducts, but continue producing from the other ones?
Because aside from the bleeding, that is the other thing she is
wondering since production seems lower.

Thanks in advance!
