Thanks to all of you who replied to my query about FTEs (Full Time
Equivalents). For those of you who might want to respond to my query, but
are unfamiliar with with the administrative jargon I will ask a different
question. How many hours are worked in a 2 week period by all LCs in your
hospital? FTEs are easily calculated from this info. Or tell me in hours
per week of all who are LCs, if this is easier. I also would like to know
total number of deliveries per year (but will calculate if you tell me
average per month).

I am also aware that the percent of initiation is important to know, but
unfortunately in this part of the South the initiation rate is low (last
year at 41% in my facility) so knowing that data may hurt my proposal rather
than strengthen it. And I am certainly only looking for data that will
strengthen my proposal.

Again "THANK YOU," to all of you who reponded to my question. To those of
you who emailed me privately, I did try to personally respond to your
emails, but found that over the long weekend I could read my messages at
home, but am not sure that my replies were sent from home.
