The most common reason for a 10-day-old (really newborn to 2 months, I would
say) to refuse the breast is they are not removing milk well, and then
supply starts to go down, so they refuse to keep trying.

What does the baby weigh?

Look for a tongue-tie, or oro-boobular disproportion. (nipples too large
for baby to get onto breast)
