On the Finnish Breastfeeding Support List there have been several
women over the years using hormonal IUD, and some of them, most of
them, I would say, have not noticed a drop in their supply, while some
of them have noticed a mild drop. However, most of these women have
had the hormonal IUD inserted only after the baby has started solids.

I wonder if the copper IUD would be an alternative for her?
