so sorry that this isn't more timely, I'm obscenely behind in Lactnet
postings...it hasn't helped that I'm a tennis addict (US Open!)

As a visiting nurse/LC, I see many breastfdng families that are confused
about the source of their free formula mailings as many have been careful to
avoid involvement but one interesting visit recently helped to clear things
somewhat. The father traced the source as the maternity clothing store that
they had visited (Pea in the Pod). He noticed that their last name was
spelled incorrectly but identically on both. This was after they had
specifically asked if their name would be sold for marketing purposes! He
wasn't happy and was planning to follow up with the store!
