Dear Katie, Sorry I just assumed we were talking about mom with major
fertility prioblems, not dad.  Also someone else posted a message that went
into more detail and I concur.  Infertility, needing fancy way to get pg is
a Red Flag.  I tuck info in back of my mind and see how BF progresses.  It
is a double blow to mom to need to be helped to get pg and then not make
much milk. She may need some grief counseling and reassurance that whatever
baby gets in way of colostrum & milk is a major plus to baby's overall
well-being.  These babies are so desperately wanted & mom wants everything
to go perfectly.  L&D nurses can also tell you that these moms more
frequently have Csecs, (another blow to her as a woman) because Dr is super
aware of importance of this long sought for child and doesn't want to take
any risks with delivery.  Life is multiple, complex and interrelated!
