Susan Srebrnik wrote about semame seeds and either flax or linseed helping
with a milk supply in a mother whose menses had resumed.

Sesame seeds are very high in calcium. I have long recommended that mothers
take extra calcium/magnesium when their milk supplies are lowered with
their menstrual cycles. I have had nothing but good outcomes with this
recommendation.

There are a number of posts in the archives on the connection between
menses and milk supply. I have posted my Calcium/magnesium protocol a
couple of times, and if anyone doesn't have it or can't find it in the
archives, you can e-mail me privately and I will send it to you.

I don't know about linseed but I do know that flax seed is a good source of
omega 3 fatty acids, which is beneficial for all of us, particularly
pregnang and lactating women. As with most seeds flax seeds have many
nutrients and perhaps something in there is a galactagogue.
