Arly:

   like so many other things, I think that parents should know that there are
other possible consequences down the road /w tongue tie...the tongue is
responsible for shaping the teeth...if the tongue does not lie in a rounded
fashion, at rest, the teeth will not grow that way, speech problems are
possible...go through the alphabet and hear the letters that will be
difficult if tongue can not reach roof....(i do not remember the list). the
tongue is reponsiblefor cleaning the teeth...what it can not sweep, it can
not clean...

     .and yes there are exceptions to all of the above...

      all that said, why not clip now and have it done with?

       i am working /w and oral surgeon who has never clipped before 1 eyar
but is willing to listen adn consider..
