I always feel sorry for the moms who discover that they're "lipase moms" - mothers whose milk tastes rancid after standing a while, whether frozen or not, and who have to scald their milk to keep it from happening. 

One such mom has found that her baby, who started daycare this month, doesn't object to the taste in her considerable store of frozen milk, though she thinks his diapers may smell more vinegary than before.  Her baby was born in late November, so none of the milk is terribly old, and it's a deep freeze.  If he doesn't mind, is there any reason to worry about his consuming the milk?
