Dear colleagues,

I want to share with you the following case. A mum is breastfeeding her son, who is 2 months old. She suffers from eczema and after the birth of her son, her skin condition has gotten worse. Currently she has a SMAR on the skin all over the breast and she is taking antibiotics. The dermatologist has told her that she must wean her baby because the problem is in the mouth of the baby but the pediatrician hasnīt seen any problem in the baby.
The breast is really bad and in my opinion she shouldnīt breastfeed her baby until the skin gets better. I have suggested that she uses mupirocin ointment on the wound of the breast .
Do you have any similar case ?
I donīt know if I can attach a picture to the list, so if some of you want to see her , please let me know and I'l send you her private mail.

All the best
