_Mothering_ recently (2 issues back??) had a big spread on co-sleeping with
several articles directly countering this media "co-sleeping is dangerous"
junk -- actual research (McKenna among others), careful analyses of the
actual data, etc.   Very believable and clear.  Interesting reservations
about co-sleeping when the parents are smokers or the mother smoked during
pregnancy, based on New Zealand study.  I really recommend going to their
website and ordering this back issue if you're interested -- I've been
using it for breastfeeding classes where I talk about this.  Some nice
pictures too.
