Also, you could be getting a pump that needs repair soon. On the Lactina,
the belts eventually break, and you never know if you will be getting a pump
that needs help.

**Has anyone ever replaced the belt on one?**

I want to sell my used Medela Lactina, and am debating whether I should
repair it first. I purchased the pump for myself when pumping for one my
babies. My husband was planning on replacing it himself, but never got
around to it; it is supposedly a cheap and easy job. Medela of course, says
not to do it yourself; they do a total overhaul/upgrade of pumps for $150.
My dh says this is overkill for a $3 part, but of course he hasn't done it
yet.
