Jeanne stated "Just wanted join the discussion for a moment regarding the
various products and their mention on Lactnet. While I totally understand
and support the
list's guidelines regarding advertising, I'm also a little sad to think that
we can't have ANY discussion among ourselves regarding products that are out
there and that the mother's we see are using."

I totally agree Jeanne; it is very difficult to know all there is to know
about different items/pumps etc without the help/knowledge of our 2700 best
LC friends.

Jeanne goes on to say "As long as nothing is said that is obviously
slanderous and derogatory about a product (which could put us at risk for a
lawsuit), and no one is excessively pitching a product (ex "only buy..."),
is it really such a bad thing to share opinions?"

Again I agree; especially as Jeanne states there are many of us in her same
situation; small business, perhaps running them out of our homes.......how
could discussing a product be harmful if our remarks only STATE facts and
are not slanderous or derogatory?

Please tell me if I am wrong here (and I know you will.) :-)

Royce
