Deanna's comments to her Mom with the spit-up problem were excellent. I
was taught by some wise LLL mentors that this is usually a "laundry
problem" more than anything else. That phrase usually lightens things up
for the Mom and puts things in perspective. I would add 3 things from
personal experience. Nursing lying down usually compounded the problem,
and gentle burping may help, too. My now 10 y.o. gave me this problem
for a few months and in retrospect I wonder if my unknowingly switch
nursing him also contributed to the problem.
