As far as I know, mother's milk is never the *primary* cause of eczema in an
nursling and weaning to a non-species-specific food will only raise the risks of
triggering allergies.
Although bovine milk is one of the most common allergens, lots of other stuff
mom is eating can be an allergen for her breastfed child. Peanuts, soy and other
beans and nuts, eggs and other proteins are often the source of trouble in
allergic children.
