Dear Marsha and all those promoting bf in Massachusetts,

What about pulling your publication about "Ridding your hospital of formula
dependency" and proposing some of those arguments:

2. Check your institution or agency's policy on selling or marketing
products to patients

3. Check your job description. Does it mention marketing of products as a
requirement of the job?

4. Obtain the mission statement of the hospital, agency, or program where
you work. Does it mention promotion of health as a goal?

Etc. I know you know these better than I do, but it seems so frustrating
that the whole point of view has been shifted to a woman's right to choose,
when the real question could be about the roles hospitals play in promoting
health and in marketing other companies' products.

Just my 2 Euro cents,

Elise Chapin
