Breastmilk enzymes digests all the thickeners available in the market (including rice cereal), except for the one Suzie Heaton mentioned (simply thick). If there is a risk for aspiration (or frank aspiration), we don't take a chance on other products. However, it is kind of expensive and not covered by insurance. It also requires that the baby be capable of drinking the extra volume this gel adds to the milk, because it has no nutritional value, it "dilutes" the breastmilk. So growth should be monitored closely.

I have no interest in the company that makes simply thick.
