of course one can nurse while on higher doses of ibuprofen. the liver and
kidney problems are a very minor risk, the main one is stomach problems,
ulcers, etc. if you are on those high doses of NSAIDS you are *supposed* to be
worked up every six months for liver, kidney, eye problems etc.

but since she is still in pain, she needs other attention, as you pointed out.
