Can anyone lead me to a reference for the required volume intake for newborns? Peds is saying the goal is 80ml/Kg/day. Baby is just out of Special Care for respiratory problems at 24 hours of age , 8 lb 2 oz, AGA full term. MD wants baby to have 48ml of breastmilk/ABM per feeding. Is there a reference anywhere for the first few days of life? Thanks in advance.
