You're right to suggest they use an LC to discuss accurate BF info.
Snyderman has been quoted as saying she thinks that the new AAP
recommendation to BF one year is outrageous and that breastfeeding is
"worth the hassle for 6 months" but beyond that it's asking too much
of a woman.  How do you say it, Jack?  Offering breastfeeding up on
the alter of ignorance?  Her tone is that women should only
"sacrifice" 6 months.  I am not making this up.  These statements were
actually printed in a woman's magazine.

This woman has a reputation for being "up" on women's health issues.
She's an ENT for crying out loud.  I bet she's great with nasal polyps
but breastfeeding is NOT her area of expertise.
