Hi Tammy,

Just a point of clarification. I'm aware that some people are using the
newsletter, "Breastfeeding Outlook" as a resource for studying for the
exam, and I'm delighted that it's helpful for that purpose!

However, I'd just like to say that it is not *designed* for that purpose.
The newsletter is a concise, up-to-the-minute quarterly publication that
gives all sorts of information--summaries of new (like,
right-off-the-press) studies, a critical review of studies for various
topics (like this issue, it was epidurals), a regular column reviewing
children's books dealing with feeding issues, my scathing editorials, a
quiz, and a potpourri of other stuff that strikes me as interesting or
informative. So, for example, the column on children's books is probably
not going to helpful with the exam. I just don't want people to be
misled--the focus is really more broad. More life-y, I guess.

Has everyone seen Linda Smith's book, "Comprehensive Lactation Consultant
Exam Review"? The book is a question/answer format, and it's designed it
for the purpose of IBCLC prep.

>Okay, so it's time for me to get SERIOUS about studying for the IBCLC
>exam...I read somewhere that Marie Biancuzzo's newsletter would be helpful.
