BESTFed's Mesa location is looking for a part-time lactation consultant.
Applicants must have and maintain IBCLC certification.  Experience with
dealing with babies after the first 24 - 72h including older babies and
nursing toddlers is important.  Willingness to keep up with the latest
research and protocols is a must.  All BESTFed LCs must comply with the
IBCLE Code of Ethics and the ILCA Standards of Practice.

BESTFed Lactation Consultants work with state of the art information and
tools.  They report to HCPs involved in the care of the dyad that they
counsel.  They keep up with current research.  They do both office and home
visits.  They answer questions from other HCPs.  They do occasional
outreach.

BESTFed is the largest, non-hospital affiliated private practice lactation
clinic in Arizona.  The first location opened commercially in Phoenix 1994
and the second opened in Mesa in 1996.  We currently have a staff of 2
IBCLCs and 22 support staff.  BESTFed is a family-friendly business.
Support staff is allowed to bring children to work up to the age of 6 years
as long as it works for all involved.
