In respose to Lemon on cup-feeding,

The article I was talking about was: Breastfeeding Review, "Cup-feeding: An
Alternative Method of Infant Feeding", Sandra Lang, Clive J. Lawrence,
Richard L'E Orme, from University of Exeter, U.K., Vol. #3, No. 1, April,
1995.

Video: First Tape, Inc. 411 Harrison-Front, Oak Park, IL 60304- From ILCA
Conference #-F532 "Cup-Feeding in the Neonatal Unit", Sandra Lang.
I have used this video several times in lectures I have done and what is nice
is that it shows the premies lapping up the milk and in control without
distress. Also the NICU units are middle income families and not third world
countries. I know, I get tired of hearing the neo's saying, that is only
done in Africa, we have advanced technology here and use bottles. The NICU
RNs have been very receptive to the video.

The other article is "How to Feed a Baby who Cannot Breastfeed" from
IBFAN-Africa, PO Box 34308, Nairobi, Kenya. (I think I am going to Africa
next year with my husband- anyone that has been there, please E-mail me.
 I've got some questions)
