As I mentioned in my earlier post there is absolutely nothing stopping
anyone from talking about characteristics of products associated with
breastfeeding that may or may not be helpful but Lactnet is not for
advertising (neither products nor conferences nor other lactation services).
If people want recommendations on particular products they are most welcome
to ask for them on Lactnet and receive replies privately.
If people really feel a need for a place where they can talk about
particular products to their heart's content they are welcome to start their
own list for that purpose (and indeed there are a number of email lists for
advertising conferences, why not for creams and gadgets).
The list mothers are always open to hearing about concerns you might have
about Lactnet. PLease feel free to email us but be aware that two
listmothers are currently out of contact and others of us are not 100% at
the moment.
