Hi Kristi -- you mentioned there was a nanny.  I'm not sure exactly how, but perhaps she could be helpful as eyes-and-ears?  It would be nice to have some warning if the baby's condition deteriorates physically.  And you mentioned no other hcp being called in.  Perhaps the nanny can be some sort of safety net?  Politically, I have no idea how this could be accomplished....
