Has anyone ever taken on the issue of food banks, crisis centres etc making
specific requests for donations of infant formula?

I imagine that this issue is very similar to donations of infant formula in
emergencies (natural disasters, war zones, refugee camps, malnutrition). I
know of several handouts for these situations, but they don't directly
address why local food banks shouldn't specifically be asking for infant
formula.

Has anyone every approached their local crisis services about this?
