I also struggled with 13 bouts of mastitis in 3 years with my first child
so I can understand this mother's frustration.  I had only one with my next
child and none so far with my 3 month old.  The only 2 things I can think of
that I now do differently:
 - changed brands of bras
 - stopped using strong antiperspirant (a LLL Leader had suggested that the
chemical that shrinks the sweat glands might also shrink milk ducts)
  Not sure if these are the reasons, but it's worth a shot.
