Hi friends,

Just a few notes today:
Spelling and learning disabilities: I am one of those with learning problems.
I do not know if my husbands problems are related to LD or if it is because he
came to America when he was 8 years old. Anyway, all of my children have some
problems and have had to learn to cope. That is why I am always behind in
reading. Our on line company does have a spell check and I use it faithfully,
however it doesn't get the ones that are spelled like a real word. Many times I
can not tell the difference.

Paying for breastfeeding: I do not know if they still do that in Germany,
however, my mother-in-law did get paid for breastfeeding and that was a great
insensitive. They still had strange ideas. When Mom "didn't have enough milk"
she gave my husband flour water. When she had her 3rd in America, she used tea.
She was always amazed that I had milk for a 4th child because she did not have
enough for 3. She also thought we Americans were strange because we had to
belong to a club to breastfeed (LLL).
