I wasn't sure how to title this question. I'm looking for research on counseling mothers who are
involved in organizations or support systems that generate fearfulness. One example that
quickly comes to mind is Ezzo parenting. I'm looking at this from an LC point of view. I find this
can profoundly effect the trust between the parent and me. Mom might fear whether she can
trust me, a relative stranger, against all she's heard and read. All the while I fear whether mom
will respond to her baby's needs.

I've read things about Ezzo parenting. I'm not looking for research on that specific group. I was
just using it as an example. Can someone lead me in the right direction?
Thanks, Sue Manore, IBCLC, RLC
