Any possibility mom is allergic to something the baby is eating or putting in his mouth? I am wondering if this could be a topical skin reaction and not a latch issue.

Baby had a small bubble space in palate and would make a skipping sound when nursing. With positioning we could get the sound to stop. She has been pumping and bottle feeding EBM, and disapointed in the fact that she has been unable to nurse him. TT was not visible, no thrush noted. I would like to help her but just not sure where to start.
