My daughter had Bells Palsy (although she was 7 at the time) as an after effect from chicken pox.  It lasted about 3 weeks.

I would hope that this baby could be fed pumped milk with some alternate method (I would think the baby would not be able to suck on a bottle either) and then could be taught to latch on once he/she recovers.
