Yes, this is sacrificing breastfeeding on the alter of ignorance. What does
the ENT think that ABM will be better that breastmilk for this baby's
eustacian tubes? He is going to get tons of ear infections from the cleft,
not from breastfeeding? The breastfeeding is even MORE important for this
baby! Try using a suplementer with the largest tubing, in the football hold
with the mom reclining a little, if possible, if the baby can latch on. The
football hold will help drop the jaw down, and the mom leaning back will help
the baby's jaw come forward.
