Influenza vaccine is an inactivated vaccine. It is safe for
breastfeeding mothers (and also may be given to pregnant women who need
it). General reference on vaccines, includes comments about
breastfeeding: "General Recommendations on Immunization:
Recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices
(ACIP)", MMWR Vol. 43, No. RR-1, January 28, 1994.
