From Frances Jones, Coordinator of the B.C. Women's Milk Bank and

Dear group,

Please help me spread the word in Canada. We are NOT SENDING MILK TO
HAITI from Canada. However we need milk every day to feed Canadian
babies and HMBANA is sending some donor milk from American banks who are
closer to Haiti than we in Canada are. If Canadian mothers want to help
mothers in Haiti they can soon donate dollars to HMBANA which will go to
pay the costs of shipping etc. Suggest they keep an eye on www.hmbana.org

If mothers in Canada want to donate to the BC Women's Milk Bank they
need to call 604-875-2282 and realize it takes a week or so to get back
to them (depending on how long our list is!)

We do not have funds to pay to ship milk- the donor must pay the cost or
find a donor who will.

Hopefully in the near future we will have regional banks!

Thanks
Frances
